Seven, Eleven, Doubles

Type of Game: Dice Number of Players: 3+
Drunk Level: Nothing can compare

How Hard To Learn?: Not at all. No silly words, rules, or patterns need to be remembered.

Supplies: A pair of dice.
A 4 - 12 ounce glass (the bigger the glass the more likelihood
of a hospital visit).
A LOT of beer (a keg or 2 cases works the best)

The Rules: The game begins by an arbitrary person (we play the owner of the dice) filling the glass to any level keeping in mind that he might have to drink that glass as fast as possible.

An arbitrary person then gets the first turn (we, again, play the owner of the dice). He becomes The Roller

For every "turn", there are two players: The Roller and The Drinker.

If The Roller does NOT roll a 7, 11, or doubles, he takes a drink out of his own beer (not the beer in the 4 - 12 ounce glass sitting between everybody) and reliquishes the dice to the person sitting to the left of him, who now becomes The Roller.

If The Roller DOES roll a 7, 11, or double, the trouble starts. He picks anyone playing, who becomes The Drinker. From the moment The Drinker TOUCHES the 4 - 12 ounce glass of beer to the moment he puts it down COMPLETELY EMPTY, The Roller rolls the dice over and over and over. If he rolls another 7, 11, or double in that time, the glass gets filled to the top, and The Drinker has to do it all over again. If he does NOT roll another 7, 11, or double, the turn is over. The Drinker refills the glass to some arbitrary level and the person to the left of The Roller becomes the new Roller.

Keep in mind that it takes about 4 rolls to hit a 7, 11, or double and a fast roller can roll 2-3 times/second. Quick math, and you realize The Drinker has about 1.5 seconds to down the beer.

Funny rule #1: If The Roller touches the dice with his hands BEFORE The Drinker touches the drink, The Roller becomes The Drinker and The Drinker becomes The Roller. As this game progresses, it gets a tad easier to trick The Roller into grabbing the dice.

Funny rule #2: The Roller CAN touch the dice with his glass before The Drinker touches his drink.

Funny rule #3: Other people can touch the dice with their glasses (if they happen to feel sorry for The Drinker, they can bother The Roller by moving the dice out of his reach)

Funny rule #4: The Roller is always gauranteed one roll no matter how fast The Drinker drinks.

Funny rule #5: Once a dice is rolled, it’s live. Therefore, if The Drinker finishes the glass while the dice is still rolling, that final roll counts.

Optional rule #1: Every time The Drinker "gets hit" (Roller rolls a 7, 11, or double while he’s drinking), the glass gets filled by half the amount as the previous time. Pattern would look like arbitrary amount, full glass, half glass, quarter glass, etc.

Optional rule #2: (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED) Limit the amount of time The Drinker can get hit on one turn. We normally play 5 times as a limit (that’s about 2-3 beers in about 5 minutes)
